DESCRIPTION:The Albert Lea Convention and Visitor's Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce are working together to present "Flare for the Fourth!" This unique event is\, in effect\, a reverse parade. We're asking homeowners and businesses alike to decorate their properties in celebration of Independence Day for one full week\, June 29th through July 5th. Then\, whoever wants to do so can drive around town and enjoy all of the decorations. Participants can feel free to use any decorations they already own. But we're asking that you work to give it a "patriotic flare." We'd love to see every property in the city decorated!!!\n\nFor our Albert Lea business owners\, there's an added bonus! Businesses can sign up to have their decorations "judged" by a team of two designated judges. And the best decorations in each ward of the city will be awarded a prize!\n\n\n\nIf you'd like to support this celebration of our freedom\, and enter your business into the "Flare for the Fourth" competition.  Just click the link above to fill out the form\, and we'll add your business to a map of the reverse parade route\, made available to those who want to drive around and enjoy the decorations!
