MN OSHA Inspections and Training Requirements
The Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MNOSHA) covers almost all public and private-sector employees. During this workshop, participants will learn the training requirements of MNOSHA and how those requirements may meet national OSHA standard requirements. Participants will also learn how, and when, to anticipate (or encourage) a MNOSHA inspection at their workplace.
Presenter: Kyle Van Lent, MNOSHA Safety Investigator, has worked with MNOSHA for the past several years. Prior to working for MNOSHA, he worked in various areas including; welding/fabrication at Monroe Truck Equipment, auto body/mechanical work at Truck Country, Inc. and various types of construction; HVAC, concrete, residential construction. Kyle received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Platteville in Industrial Safety.
