Flare for the Fourth

The Albert Lea Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce are working together to present “Flare for the Fourth!” This unique event is, in effect, a reverse parade. We’re asking homeowners and businesses alike to decorate their properties in celebration of Independence Day for one full week, June 29^th through July 5^th. Then, whoever wants to do so can drive around town and enjoy all of the decorations. Participants can feel free to use any decorations they already own. But we’re asking that you work to give it a “patriotic flare.” We’d love to see every property in the city decorated!!!
For our Albert Lea business owners, there’s an added bonus! Businesses can sign up to have their decorations “judged” by a team of two designated judges. And the best decorations in each ward of the city will be awarded a prize!
